Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 16, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Sealed Peptides (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and shares personal information when you use sealedpeptides.com (the “Site”). By using the Site you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

  • Account information. You can order with an account or, where guest checkout is offered, as a guest. When you create an account we collect your name, email address, password, phone number (optional) and the date and time you confirmed that you are 21 or older and that products are for laboratory research use only. We also store the shipping addresses you save and your order history. Passwords are handled by our account provider and are stored only in hashed form; we cannot read them.
  • Order information. When you place an order we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), shipping address, the items ordered and any notes you add.
  • Email list. If you sign up for new-arrival and restock alerts we collect your email address, the page you signed up on, the time, and a keyed (one-way) hash of your IP address that we use only to limit spam signups. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and after you unsubscribe we keep only the address and the unsubscribe time so we do not email you again.
  • Saved cart and reminders. When you are signed in, we save the items in your cart (product, size and quantity only) so we can email you up to two reminders if you leave it. The saved cart is deleted when you place an order, and every reminder has an unsubscribe link.
  • Back-in-stock alerts. If you ask for an alert on a sold-out item we keep your email address, the item, the time and a keyed hash of your IP address (used only to limit spam) until we have emailed you once about it.
  • Order feedback. About a week after an order ships we may send one email asking for private feedback on shipping, packaging and service. We keep your rating and comment with the order. We do not publish feedback on this website.
  • Saved items. When you are signed in and tap the heart on a product, we save that product and size to your account so you can find it later. If the item is sold out when you save it, we also add your account email to the one-time back-in-stock email for that item, and remove it again if you unsave the item before we send it.
  • Order lookup. The “Track an order” page asks for an order number and the email address on the order and shows only the order's status, dates and tracking number. To limit guessing we keep a keyed (one-way) hash of the visitor's IP address, with the time, for up to two days.
  • Visitor statistics (no cookies). To see which pages are used we count page views with our own simple counter. For each view we add one to a daily total for the page address and the name of the website you came from (for example, a search engine), if any. We do not set a cookie, do not store anything in your browser for this, and do not save your IP address, browser details or any identifier, so a count cannot be tied to a person. The counter is not run if your browser sends “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control, or on our account, checkout and admin pages. Your IP address is only held in the website server’s memory, as a keyed hash, to block floods of requests.
  • Backups. We keep encrypted backup copies of our store records (orders, customer accounts, products and stock, email lists, affiliate and feedback records and saved carts) in a separate private location in case our main database is lost. The copies are encrypted before they leave our systems and are deleted automatically after a limited period.
  • Ad visits. If you arrive by clicking one of our ads (for example on Google, Bing or Taboola), we remember only the ad network and campaign name in this browser tab (session storage, cleared when the tab is closed). We count it in our daily totals and save it with an order you place in that tab, so we can see which ads work. We do not store the ad click ID or anything that identifies you. Our pages also load the Google Ads tag and the Taboola pixel, which tell Google and Taboola that a page was viewed and, after an order, its total, so they can measure our ads; Google and Taboola handle that data under their own privacy policies.
  • Referral codes. If you arrive through a referral link or enter a referral code, we remember the code in your browser for 30 days and save it with your order so the person who referred you can be credited. It does not change your price.
  • Messages. If you use the contact form or email us, we keep your name, email address and message so we can reply.
  • Payment information. You can pay by credit or debit card or by Zelle. Card payments are processed by Square (Block, Inc.). Your card details are typed into a secure form provided by Square and go directly to Square; they never reach our server and we do not store card numbers or security codes. Square tells us the payment result, the card brand and the last four digits, which we keep with your order. Square processes the payment and may use payment and device information for fraud prevention under its own privacy notice (squareup.com/legal/general/privacy). Zelle payments happen inside your own bank or Zelle app and we never see your bank login.
  • Browser storage. The Site uses your browser’s local storage to remember your cart, a cart you saved for later, the products you recently viewed, the ZIP code you used for a delivery estimate, the last entries in a laboratory calculator, your sign-in session, that you confirmed you are 21+, and that you dismissed the cookie notice. This stays on your device; you can clear it in your browser settings (the calculators also have a “Clear saved inputs” button, and the recently viewed row a “Clear” button).
  • Order notes and PO / reference. If you add order notes or a PO / reference number at checkout we save them with the order, show them on your invoice or receipt, and include them in the order email we send you and the one we receive.
  • Order status emails and reorder reminders. We email you about your order as it is paid, packed, shipped and delivered, and if it is delayed. About four weeks after an order is delivered we may send one reminder with a link to buy the same items again; it has an unsubscribe link, we send it at most once per order and we do not send it if you have unsubscribed or have already ordered again.
  • Customers also bought. The “Customers also bought” row is worked out from paid orders on this Site and is shown only when several different customers bought the same items together. It shows product names only, never anyone’s order, name or address.
  • Shared cart links. A cart link contains product, size and quantity only, signed so it cannot be altered. It contains no name, email address or price.
  • ZIP code and address look-up. When you type a ZIP code at checkout, the city and state are filled in from a table that is part of this website; the ZIP code is not sent to anyone else.
  • Technical data. Our hosting provider may log standard technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and reliability.

How we use information

  • To process, ship and support your order, including emailing your order number, payment instructions and tracking information.
  • To answer questions and support requests.
  • To send the new-arrival and restock emails you signed up for (one welcome email, then only announcements you opted in to).
  • Guest orders. If you check out as a guest we collect and store the same order details (your name, email address, optional phone number, shipping address or pickup choice, the items and amounts, the delivery method, and the date and time you confirmed you are 21 or older and that products are for research use only) but create no account and no password. We use the order number and email address on the order to show you its status, to let you tell us you sent your payment, and to send order emails. If you later create an account with the same confirmed email address, your guest orders are attached to that account.
  • To apply the first-order discount: we check whether your account (if you have one), email address or shipping address already has a previous (non-cancelled) order.
  • To verify eligibility (21+) and comply with law, and to prevent fraud and abuse.
  • To keep the Site secure and working.

We do not sell your personal information. Apart from the Google Ads tag and Taboola pixel described above, we do not use advertising trackers.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the store, such as our website host, our account and database provider (Supabase), our email delivery provider (Resend), the carrier that delivers your package (USPS, or UPS when you choose a UPS service), the shipping-label service we use to buy postage (Pirate Ship), which receives your name, delivery address, email address and phone number (if given) for that purpose only, and with authorities when the law requires it. These providers may only use the information to provide their services to us.

Social media links. Our site links to our profiles on X and Facebook. These are plain links: we do not load their buttons, widgets or tracking code on our pages. If you follow a link, that site's own privacy policy applies to your visit there.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as needed to fulfil the order, handle replacements, meet legal and accounting obligations and resolve disputes. Contact-form messages are kept as long as needed to respond and for reasonable record-keeping.

Your choices

You can view and edit your name, phone number and saved addresses in My account, and ask us to delete your account (we may need to keep order records for legal and accounting reasons). You can clear your browser storage at any time to remove your saved cart and preferences. To ask what information we hold about you, or to ask us to correct or delete it (subject to legal record-keeping needs), email support@sealedpeptides.com.

Age restriction

The Site is intended for adults aged 21 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21.

Security

We use HTTPS for all traffic to the Site and limit access to order information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when it last changed.
