Rewards program terms
Customers with an account earn points on paid orders and can use them as a credit on a later order. Here is exactly how it works.
Earning points
- You earn 1 point per $1 of merchandise on each order, calculated on the amount after any volume or first-order discount and after any points credit you used. Shipping and taxes do not earn points. Partial dollars are rounded down.
- Points are added when we mark the order Paid, which happens after we confirm your payment. Placing an order does not earn points by itself.
- You need an account to earn or use points. Orders placed without an account do not earn points.
Using points
- 100 points = $5.00 of credit. Points are redeemed in steps of 100, with a minimum of 100 points per order.
- The credit can cover up to 50% of the merchandise subtotal of an order (after discounts). It cannot be used on shipping.
- The credit is applied at checkout to the amount you pay. It does not change product prices, the volume discount tiers, the first-order discount, or the free-shipping threshold, which are all worked out before the credit is applied.
- If an order is cancelled, points used on it are returned to your balance and points earned on it are removed. If we refund an order, the points earned on it are removed.
General terms
- Points have no cash value. They cannot be exchanged for cash, sold, or transferred to another person or account.
- We can change the program, including how many points are earned or how much they are worth, or end it at any time. We will correct errors, and we can remove points or close accounts where points were obtained by abuse, such as fake or duplicate accounts.
- Points do not currently expire. If that changes, we will say so on this page before it takes effect.
- You can see your balance and every change to it under My account, Rewards.
Customer referrals
- Every account has a personal referral link and code under My account, Rewards.
- When a friend you referred places their first order and it is marked Paid, you earn 250 points. Your friend pays the regular price: a referral link or code never changes the price of their order.
- A referral counts only for a new customer: no earlier order on the same account, email address or shipping address, and not shipped to an address saved on your account. You cannot refer yourself or another account you control.
- The referred order must have a merchandise subtotal of at least $50.00 after discounts. We limit rewards to 5 per 30 days and 50 in total per customer.
- If the referred order is cancelled or refunded, the reward is taken back. We may decline or reverse rewards that look like abuse.
- This is separate from the affiliate program, which pays commission in money to approved partners.
