Purity and net peptide content calculator
Mass arithmetic for a weighed powder. You enter every number, including the percentages; nothing is pre-filled or suggested. The tool does not know what your material contains. Use a decimal point (2.5, not 2,5).
Gross mass and a net peptide content (and, optionally, a purity) to the mass of peptide in the powder.

Formulas
- Peptide mass: gross mass × net peptide content ÷ 100.
- Main-peptide mass: peptide mass × purity ÷ 100.
- Gross mass to weigh: wanted mass ÷ (net peptide content ÷ 100 × purity ÷ 100).
- Content from components: 100 − water − counter-ion − other.
- Corrected concentration: gross mass ÷ volume × net peptide content ÷ 100.
Read this first. Purity from a chromatogram is an area percent, not a mass fraction, so multiplying it by a content is an approximation. Use values measured on the same material. If you do not have a net peptide content, leave the calculation alone rather than guessing one. See purity versus net peptide content.
